Seven people were inducted into the Little Athletics Australia Roll of Excellence on Saturday 19th October at a Gala Dinner in Geelong celebrating the 50th anniversary of Little Athletics.
The Little Athletics Australia Roll of Excellence recognizes both former participants and administrators in Little Athletics who have subsequently excelled in their chosen field within four categories: Track & Field, Sportsmen, Achievers and Volunteers.
The people inducted this year join a special group of members who have each been awarded Little Athletics Australia Roll of Excellence membership. New inductees include: Olympic and Commonwealth games track and field athletes Sally Pearson and Jane Flemming; AFL player and media personality Shane Crawford; NBA star Patrick Mills; Premiership netballer Kimberlee Green and volunteers Andrea Harvey and Ken Gardiner.
